The Mason Outdoor Expo is a one-day outdoor event featuring shows, vendors, voting, prize drawings, family activities, food, shopping, and more.
MOE is always the weekend between Father's Day and the 4th of July
MOE is held at the Ingham County Fairgrounds in Mason, Michigan.
General Admission is $5 for ages 5 and up. Kids 4 and under are free.
No. General Admission tickets are purchased at the gate.
Yes. Cash and credit cards are accepted. A small credit card processing fee may apply. We recommend bringing cash because an ATM is not guaranteed on site.
Yes, but you must get a re-entry wristband before leaving. Without a wristband, you may be subject to paying admission again.
Yes. General parking is free for MOE attendees.
Yes. Handicap parking is available through the fairgrounds, but space is limited and first come, first served.
Yes. Sectioned motorcycle parking is planned near the north end by Gate A.
Yes. Shuttles run in a loop inside and outside the event, usually completing a loop in about 15 minutes.
Kids ages 5–12 receive a voting booklet at entry while supplies last. They visit listed booths, vote for their favorites, and may collect toys or prizes at participating booths.
Teens and adults scan QR codes at participating booths to vote for their favorites and enter MOE prize drawings.
Each vote earns one entry. Only one email address will count as a vote at each show.
No. You do not have to be present to win unless otherwise noted.
Yes. MOE is a family-friendly event with kid-focused activities, voting fun, toys, giveaways, and big machines to explore.
Yes. Kids 4 and under receive free admission.
Food options may include fair-style favorites such as snow cones, elephant ears, snacks, drinks, and other food vendor options.
Kid-friendly activities may include a bounce house, Touch-A-Truck style machines, and other family fun depending on availability.
Pets are allowed per fairgrounds rules and must remain on a leash at all times.
Yes. MOE is planned as a rain or shine event.
Pit passes are only required for restricted pit access. Watching the event from public areas is included with General Admission.
Pit passes are $20, 18+ only, and require a government-issued ID and signed waiver.
We encourage ideas and feedback for future MOE events. Please send suggestions before event day so they can be properly reviewed. Event-day suggestions may not be able to be addressed immediately.
